trying to ring to book tickets - anyone successful?

I have been fortunate enough to win 2 tickets for paralympics and wanted to purchase a child ticket so that we could all go, but this is not available online.
I have now been trying to ring them all week but i get a long message regarding things then tells me its very busy then tells me i will be disconnected
Anyone got through and any suggestions?

I have been ringing 0844 847 2012 tried to find a local call number but those listed don't seem to work0
