Got my visa electron card this week and well chuffed. I want to now get into the cashback sites and stuff but tried doing ebay through quidco and its showing nothing. are these sites worth using or more hassle than its worth.
Also what are the best sites to get cashback. dont really want loads of gambling sites either as that was a part of the reason i got into debt lol (although got a £20 free bet and withdrew £80 the other day, and WHEN tiger wins today will get another £50)
thanks in advance

by the way i aint going to be going mad with it online, just more for the fact of being able to have DDs and SOs
it has took nearly 12 months to get one as ive only got a basic account with nationwide0 -
Hi there big lad
If you have done the ebay thing today, then it won't have tracked yet. If you look tomorrow it will probably be there.
I have signed up to a few cash back sites. I mainly have done so, in order to do the free click throughs on each site. It won't earn me 100's of pounds but, every little helps.
Also it is worth joining more than one cash back site, because not all retailers are with x site, they might be with y site instead.
My 3 main sites are
https://www.quidco.com
https://www.pigsback.co.uk (big thread on this in the freebies forum, I got a £10 voucher really quickly through them)
https://www.mutualpoints.com - these are ok, but they are pretty slow
cheers

Hi Big Lad,
I totally understand why your enfused about getting your electron card as I too have had a basic bank account for months and was told I would eligable for an Visa Electron in May/June
Just a question though, Were you not allowed to set upa DD or SO on your basic account?
Even with my basic account with the Abbey I have been able to set these up via online banking and to be honest I havent really missed the full current account apart from the otherdraft what of course I no longer want anyway loOfficial DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 297 - Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts0 -

Hi Biglad
I joined Quidco on 18 February and have already amassed £230. Now fair enough I got £60 on car insurance, £75 on house insurance and 2 x £25 for pet insurance policies but I would have been buying those anyway. Here's some other things which are worth doing:
Dennis Publishing - 6 free copies of This Week Magazine - £4 cashback
Magazine Group - 3 issues of The Business for £1 - £10.40 cashback
02 - claim 2 free sims - 35p cashback
Get Me a Quiz - Register - 65p cashback
Brochures for Me - Request junk - 35p cashback
Brochure Bank - Request junk - 25p cashback
Test and Vote - Register - £1.50 cashback
Catalink - Request junk - 45p cashback
Computeach - Register - £5 cashback
Opinionistic - Register - 20p cashback
Love at Lycos - Register - £1 cashback
QXL - Register - 50p cashback
Great UK Surveys- Register - 67p cashback
Catalink - Request junk - 40p cashback
On a daily basis I do a few searches - Kelkoo 10p, High Street Web 8p, Carsource 4p. OK it's not a fortune but it adds up to £80.30 in the year for doing nowt.
Also with ebay you need to go through Quidco when you are going to make the purchase. On one occasion I didn't do my payment through quidco but it still managed to track.
Have you any digital photos you need processed? There are several sites through quidco - photobox, snapfish, truprint etc. They are all doing deals of free photos and you get cashback. You do need to pay postage which is normally about £1.50.

If you look at the left hand column you will see Merchants. I click on that. Then I choose the tab at the top that says pounds. I can then look through them to see which sites pay money for clicks or for signing up for services etc.0
