I'm ashamed to say that me and DH have been nursing hangovers all day. We had a lovely evening with our neighbours across the street - great company, lovely wine and no need to drive! Today we're paying for it! Usually do a roast but we had comforting chicken soup for lunch and DH's fantastic omelette for tea. Will do the roast tomorrow! DS1 and GDS1 and GDD2 came over this afternoon - they're lovely and made us feel a bit more lively! Going to have a cup of tea now and then go to bed - will wake up with new optimism tomorrow, no hangover and the motivation to make the cakes I was going to make today!

Had a bit of a lie-in - what luxury. Washed three loads in the machine and got them all dry on the line! Had lunch an hour late (was looking at the wrong clock  ), took the dogs out in the woods. Did a pile of ironing, made bread rolls for tea. Chilled out in front of the televion. Cut DH's and DS's hair.

Ironing, absolutely loads of it piled up, a bit of painting, making a Sunday Roast. Nothing very interest but glad to have kept myself busy.
