September 11th is exactly 50 weeks before my 50th. To enjoy the lead-up I want to do 50 things I havent done before, preferrably MSE (so great wall of china is out :rotfl:) i am an overweight under-fit cowardly custard so parachuting also out
Ideas so far include playing marbles at Elgin, getting a tattoo, making sushi, shaking a bucket for charity, getting something published in a magazine, giving a sheep a pedicure, making icecream, eating an alphabet of scottish foods, playing the bagpipes, learning to crochet, driving a combine harvester...
I dont have to have the whole list settled by the start but do want to spend the next 6 weeks making a start. All suggestions welcome

What a brilliant idea! I'm not sure of your life experiences so far but maybe some of these may inspire you:
Ride a horse/ Shetland pony? Motorbike? Rollercoaster? Camel?
Walk on stilts? Tightrope?
Find a geocache?
Master something that you can't cook yet (eg I just can't manage gooey brownies
)?
Make a corn dolly?
Learn to juggle/ eat fire?!
Busk for an hour/ living statue for an hour?
Let us have your list once it's complete, mind, some of us may be inspired to do something similar
They call me Dr Worm... I'm interested in things; I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm.

i've made a nature collage and played the chopsticks game (I was a very keen guide) Ann summers? I'd probs die of embarrassment. Languages are not my forte but perhaps learning 50 words (or hello in 50 languages) there will be a walking challenge in there somewhere.20*25 for 2025: 489 / 5000 -
again all brilliant. I misread ukdeal as ukelele which is an instrument i have never played. I'll probs have to leave WR to the. Brilliant team GB though sometimes the uni tries them so will keep my eyes peeled.vikki_louise wrote: »Dress up as a costume character (like you get at Disney), hop down the street on a space hopper (like on friends!), break a world record (if you think of something very original then you get to set it!), do a fun run, spend Christmas day working at a homeless shelter, keep an eye on hot ukdeals or bargain sites for one of the mega cheap flights/hotels and be spontaneous, do 50 random acts of kindness, wish on a star, have a custard pie fight or get gunged, go to a rave pretending your a 90's teenager, swim the distance of the channel in your local swimming pool, hire a bouncy castle just for yourself and your adult friends
