Maybe more for the boys, but I've ordered one for my girls anyway :rotfl: At that price? It'd be rude not to

See it on Amazon here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Remote-Control-Robot-Fires-Dances/dp/B002Y5I1SC/ref=zg_bs_5230668031_20 -
Thank you and it looks like a great toy but on Amazon the rrp is not usually the price its ever been sold at. If you go to the camelcamelcamel web site you can see what the average price for most Amazon products are. The average price for this toy on Amazon is actually less than it is now so dont be fooled by how Amazon write their reductions0

It’s common to see ads promising savings compared to a recommended retail price (RRP). But marketers should be aware that while it is acceptable for them to quote RRPs if they are genuine, such price comparisons are likely to mislead if the RRP differs significantly from the price at which the product or service is generally sold. This reflects the position of the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills Pricing Practices Guide (https://www.bis.gov.uk).0 -

All perfectly true, and Amazon have been reported to Trading Standards and the Advertising Standards Authority many times, and by many people, over many years.
Sadly, though, no action is ever taken - presumably because Amazon is simply too big and too powerful for the UK authorities to tackle. Much the same with their tax.0 -
But this isn't new though. Sports Direct have built a whole business model on this approach, and I still remember (for some of us older posters) stores like MadHouse and Officer's Club continually having a 'sale' on, even though the products were showing an RRP that was clearly inflated.
All Amazon are doing is following a similar approach, just more successfully.0 -

For your information any Amazon link that has a -21 in it somewhere is an affiliate link so if you copy the link from elsewhere please edit it before posting. Thankyou.0 -
