Interesting, indeed - thanks. I understand from ASA that they're also investigating Amazon's use of fictitious RRPs and discounts. I'm guessing they've had a lot of complaints.0 -

With Christmas coming would it be worth splitting this thread into under 8's and over 8's to help people find the right toys?0

Not sure why there would be a need for this. We've managed to survive the last 2 Christmas' with no problems and no splitting of the thread's. Would cause more confusion I think.
Easier to keep it all one thread IMOPay all debt off by Christmas 2025 £815.45/£3,000£1 a day challenge 2025 - £180/£730 Declutter a bag a week in 2025 11/52Lose 25lb - 10/25lbs Read 1 book per week - 5/52Pay off credit card debt 18%/100%0 -

Easier to keep it all one thread IMO
I just thought it would save people seeing the thread has new entries, flicking down the the new ones and it being the wrong age group (ie mine are 10 and 7 now so not interested in baby/toddler toys) Not a worry if people want to keep it bundled up.0 -
Better to keep it as one, my 9 year old would be quite happy with a reduced cuddly toy aimed at a 2 year old, and when 7 my eldest was into much older things. MSE like to keep things by retailer on the forums anyways, whilst I would prefer (as would most people, as proved by HUKD's growing popularity) individual deals being posted as such, rather than threads for retailers. Tesco and Amazon sell so many things that having specific threads means more work to find the deals I am interested in. Having individual posts for each deal, whilst gets some moaning that we have a page of deals just for Tesco, and they dont shop there, is much easier, hence why all the deals are on HUKD these days.0

The thread's fine the way it is. Any age split would be arbitrary and unhelpful.0
