Leaving the park at busy times

We will be leaving after the athletics on Monday evening, alongside 80,000 other people!
We could take the tube, the javelin, or the docklands light railway ...depending on which has shorter lines.
Has anyone left at a busy time, can you access one part of Stratford station more easier than others, or is it all one big line?

We left when it was busy yesterday, not sure how busy. You were escorted out in one long line, everyone headed towards Westfield, through there then into Stratford. It was busy but moved quickly.
Games makers were saying to people to use the javelin if they could, we were unable to so unsure what it was like in that direction.0 -
Consider walking along the Greenway to West Ham if you are fit and able. It will take around 25-30 minutes but you will likely get straight on the tube. You can spend longer than that queueing at Stratford to get on the tube or Javelin.0

We've used the javelin train to get to and from all our events and its been great - busy but always got a seat- 6 mins to Kings Cross/St Pancras and then use the every reliable Victoria Line0

We left the Olympic Stadium last night (the greatest day of athletics:j) and decided to go for the Jubilee Line underground train from Stratford. The crowds moved forward slowly but steadily and when we arrived at the platform there were 2 trains waiting.
The train to our left was leaving first but was jammed full, so we went for the other train.........and I got a seat! I never believed I could walk straight onto a tube train and get a seat with 80,000 people all trying to get home.
The Javelin is a far superior ride, comfortable seats and air conditioning...............but the queues can be massive.;)I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the 'I wanna' and 'In my home' and Health & Beauty'' boards. If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. It's much quicker to get on at Stratford than walk the greenway (done both to west ham). If you are in the stadium it will take you about 15 mins just to get to the greenway gate then a good 20 mins walk to west ham. Always managed to get straight on jubilee line from stratford.0

We left after the athletics tonight. We were sat on an aisle, so we were up and out very quickly, and walked very quickly to Stratford. There was a queue for the javelin, but within 10 mins we were on a train. I was really impressed.0
