but I wouldn't get excited if you are in a capita area- just as private and profit driven, just as bad a reputation, just less publicity(ish) for now. Ps the real discrace is the test itself the profiteering is just the cherry.0 -
I totally disagree with private companies being contracted to carry out Welfare processes, and that includes all the Back to Work schemes also contracted to profiteering private companies.
If medical and disability assessments and reassessments are going to be an ongoing work process of the future then our Government should recruit, train and employ its own staff to do the work. If our governement don't feel they're capable of being able to control the process efficiently, then they quite clearly aren't capable of governing the country either.
I can't think of a single previously nationalised industry or government controlled process that's been sold or contracted out to private companies over the past 60 years that's proved a winner for everyone, including the end user ie the Public .0 -
