Had some fun with good old Asda after my trouting with the giftcard scenario today. I went for mooch later on noticed they had not removed the sel on the car shampoo. Be rude not too wouldn't it, I bought it again using the previous gift card, overcharged, to CS and another giftcard no fuss after asking.
Morries 27 shower Palmolive @ 50p each.
Tesco lenor again, no room for anymore pork, god knows what's in the freezer.
Body shop on its way.
Towels turning up everyday.
X happy days X
Have I missed a towel glitch? :eek:Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in.0 -
Good evening
We had a manic day shopping, DD wombled more good stuff, she got £3 of £20 till spit in T's and so far £3.98 on apgs, waiting for PP's to come in..
Noticed some opportunities for fairy liquid gel as £7 in S and £3.49 in T's [I might have figures wrong slightly as tired] ..
Has anyone done this yet ???
Went to S's and noticed a giant clear rubbish bag filled with receipts from S's till, oh how I wanted to rip it open..;);)
I wonder where they throw it out..
Hope everyone is well and has had a productive dayI always take the moral high ground, it's lovely up here...0 -

Do you mean it wouldn't scan? I know some others were having problems with them not scanning.
Personally, I've never had any probs with them not scanning apart from on the SS tills where a message comes up to put it to the side or something similar.
Who knows, this is T's after all :rotfl:
I have found that they don't scan on a manned till except for when they use the gun/handheld scanner. So if anyone is at a till and it won't scan, ask the SA to try thatApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
Evening lovely Elite!
Not sure if this is useful but it surprised me tonight...
Went to Mr S and got a few whoopsies which is a miracle in itself as they don't always reduce by very much. We bought among other things 2 packs of Benecol 6 pack drink things down from £3.79:eek: yeah right to 29p :T
But - at the till a further £1 came off the bill as the multibuy kicked in!
So paid 42p towards rest of shopping - good job I had more!
I didn't know that multibuys still kicked in on whoopsies in Mr S, maybe it is variable like in Mr T I'm not sure but if you find these then grab some!
And I got my best ever wombled APG tonight for £6.68 :j:j:j
Well happy because it almost covers the cost of 8 bags of chocs to get 2 free cinema tickets - thank you to whoever mentioned it yesterday, me and OH missed a cinema trip on his birthday as we had no car to get there so now we can go for FREE!!

Anyone got any recommendations for a hand made/top of the range/ all appliances included/granite worktops for about £2K:D:D (Yeah, I know I can dream), seriously though we are looking for a good spec, and as MSE as possible;);)
We got ours in good old Ikea. I bought some of the freestanding range (Varde?) wall cupboards as I liked the way they opened (up and over!) but wanted fitted base units so bought some plain wooden ones (sorry can't remember the name) and matched them.
Really pleased with the quality. Every bit as good as the kitchen we bought from a specialist shop in our previous house.
Worktops we bought in Howdens as Ikea didn't do them long enough.
I ordered all my appliances online. Wanted a range type cooker but without the gaps so opted for two seperate built in ovens and put them side by side with a big gas hob over the top. I did this in my previous kitchen too and would deffo do it again. My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -

I thought it best not to argue the point with Mr T not if I'm wanting to continue shopping there
I'm sure each store makes up there own rules as they go along :eek:0 -

I have taken a full bin bag away twice now.
I did return them both times...each one a little lighter :rotfl:Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

Quick question - I'm planning to do my first targeted shop at Tosco tomorrow, just wanted to check how many items are needed to compare, and can I get things like the value sponges, value razors etc as they are not a food item?
I don't know if this has been answered yet, but I would have thought they would be OK. I know things like aspirin, paracetamol etc compare and are cheap, but to be on the safe side I would go for around 10 items just in case.
I now tend to go for stuff I know I'll use and buy regularly anyway....onion, bananas (2!) garlic, tinned tomatoes, etc. My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -

:T:T:T
You're welcome.
I came back from wombling tonight with 3 successful APGs totalling £7.81. Together with 19p cash, these will be getting redeemed for another 8 packs of Maltesers and 2 tickets to the cinema :j
I'm ashamed to say I have already finished the 8 bags of Maltesers I bought yesterday :eek:
I just HAD to open them all because I wanted to input those codes and check how easy it is to order tickets. Once they were all open they didn't stand a chance
The next 8 bags will last a little longer...I hope!Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0
