It's the sort of guy he is. He'll do this sort of thing all the while telling me he's really grateful for all the effort that I put in and that I do a great job :eek: And then when I question his words/behaviour he says it's all in my head and he does nothing but praise me up! :eek:

Happy Anniversary Naebbirac ..... shame about the meal. It is so disappointing when a special meal turns out like that ....... but well done on getting your 'meal' free

I well remember going out with first hubbie and in-laws to a pub that FiL, as a butcher, supplied the meat to, and when my steak came, it was raw. Now, I like a nice medium-rare steak, with a little blood ............... but this was just not cooked at all. FiL was crowing over how they serve the best steaks, coz he supplied them, and I had to return mine :eek: :eek: Tricky moment but there was no way I could eat it, though hubbie thought I should just eat it and keep quiet. Perhaps, it's just as well that marriage didn't last :eek: :eek:
