    £9.69 @ Asda
    £6.00 @ Tesco
    = £3.69 JTD

    Should it be £3.69 APG:cool:

    Think it's actually
    9.69 @asda - 5.40 (6.00 - 10%) tesco = £4.29 APG :p could be wrong though it's been a long day and my brain is a bit sleepy

Thanks to the poster who mentioned the reduced union jack pampers managed to get 2 packs with 2 £1.50 mocs so paid £3.48 for 52 nappies :D plus my little boy will love them - he loves flags since the jubilee, torch relay and olympics
Silence is golden...unless you have a toddler. In that case silence is very, very suspicious!

Some of you may remember I asked the following on a thread a little while back

"I know a few of you have had job interviews later so can anyone tell me if a company is allowed to do this. My dad had a job interview on Monday and they called him back for a medical with ot yesterday as he has a plate in his arm and they wanted to check it would affect his ability to do the job, it said there was no problem and wouldn't have an affect, had a call yesterday afternoon to say he'd got the job but needs to start this monday. He went straight to his employers and handed in his notice but the new job have just phoned and said the managers don't think he'll be able to do the job and are retracting the offer. He's now got no job as his employers are saying you've already handed your notice in."

He had a phone call on monday asking him to go for a job interview yesterday so he came home with me for the interview and had a call within 30 minutes of it ending to say he has the job and starts next week
Thats really nice to hear that, I do remember your post & wondered how he had got on. fab to hear a happy ending:T:T:T
i got home minus another toe :( at lunchtime.all went well. i had a doze this afternoon, only to be woken by the cat pouncing on my banagaes  i think he thought they were a mouse or something.

i get the banadages changed on monday, so no glitches until then please as i will have to use the bus until then  and if you knew our transport system you would  as well.

i had some toast when i got home as i couldnt bear the thought of slop on a plate at the hospital.

thank you all for your good wishes.
