I thought the ISS was visible at 8.46pm tonight. Went outside, no clouds but daylight so I couldn't see anything in the sky.

Next siting is meant to be 22.22

DH & I just froze our butts off but didn't see the ISS. A bit surprised as, even though it was still quite light, I would have expected to see the reflected sunlight.

    Phew! Caught up at last.

Been out to lunch today with a couple of friends. Went to a funny little Bistro in Torquay in a parade of shops in a posh residential area.
It was a bit like God's waiting room, but the food was nice.

Both of my friends had the daily special, which was TROUT......I couldn't face it somehow so had Cajun chicken instead :D
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

It'll be a long night, and a long day, for lots of people tomorrow Nikkilala.

Many won't get their first choice, some won't get their insurance.

Trying to get through to uni's will be a nightmare, with phones engaged all the time, no reply to emails....

Hope all those waiting can get some sleep this evening. Keep calm tomorrow, and all hands on deck for supporting those who haven't got what they perceive as their dream.

As someone else said earlier, sometimes, these things happen for a reason.

Us to, he "knows" he won't get high enough grades for his main offer and reckons its less than 50% if he will meet the offer for the insurance. Interestingly the one I wanted him to keep as insurance has his course in clearing - though he still maintains he's not going there.

    Evening all

Been manic today with my nephews birthday party, but I pulled it off and everyone enjoyed themselves! :-)

17 kids and 15 adults. My house isn't that big and it rained loads, but as soon as the sun came out I sent all the kids outside so I could clean up a bit!

A couple of very well deserved vodkas have found their way down my throat :D

Off to carry on catching up
