Reading through some of these  emergency anecdotes, I've been struggling not to participate and now I give in to the temptation.....

I know of a lady who prepared for her smear appointment to the added extent of using a personal fragrance item. After the smear had been performed, she realised to her horror that she had applied party glitter spray instead of FF:eek:

Oh I love that - thank you - really has made me :rotfl::rotfl:
When I grow old, I dont want people thinking "what a sweet old lady" I want them to think
"oh carp what is she up to now!"

Popped in to T on the way back. Got 9 more boxes of coco pops. The usual 7 cheap veg. However I could only find mushrooms at £4.99. So went through SS and used my PP. No Pork self was clear. Asked a SA to look in the back. I got the brush off there is nothing in the back. Walking to get checked out there was a guy stacking meat. Have you got any of this? I'll look in the back. Comes back and says no well at least he could be bothered to look. If there is nothing in the back where is all this stuff appearing from?

Forgot to get the cake mix. :(

I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

  • feeling a bit 'down under' at the mo and actually cried last night :o well early hours of this morning, when I realised that my £10.50 pm had expired, sooooooooooooo cross/upset with myself

and also a little :o/ashamed at doing so when I think of what some people are/have gone through on here, after all its only money/paid for beer not free.

so hugs to all that need one :)

Ilovemykids - I have just checked my MrS voucher for the beer and mine has expired too, can not believe it, I am soo carp at this :(. I was so excited about it, DH wasn't too keen on the beer but enjoyed it so much more when it was free, not very happy with myself just now but think I must look on the bright side and think of all the money I've saved overall since discovering this fab site :).

Thanks again all, I will keep searching in the hope that I can find something to share with you all :T
