It is worth it my family think I'm mad but all of them partake in my hand outs and dtd wine, roast joints etc.
I couldn't do it without my wife who sits at home all night with the kids whilst I'm wombling and dtd, I save it she spends it online
I know how you feel. I felt like I was absolutely wasting my time today :mad::mad:
The missus and I both promised not to use our credit cards since I started wombling/glitching/doing ALL the grocery shopping and have just been chipping away at the old balance (its on a 0% deal for another year or so)
I was curious to see what the new balance was and saw she had put on £50 of new transactions in the month!! Was it shoes/boots/coat/dress/household need/utility bill/etc....? Nope! It was 50 bleedin' quid for facebook credits so that she could play the Sims!!!!
She blamed ME, saying it gave her something to do while I was out wombling. If I knew she was going to throw £50 down the pan because I was going wombling I could have just stayed at home for a whole week and paid for all our shopping with cash rather than APGs
It's so unbelievably wasteful and it undid so much hard workApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

Yep we have the same on the 0%, I agree some people think because we are saving on the food front there is extra cash for other things, I just want to be debt free, but sadly we are a few years away from that0 -

I thought the skipping club was meant to be all about summing up whats happened on this thread not posting exclusive finds and teasing people on here about it.
Have I missed a find or have you not posted it on here yet?
Or is it something light-hearted/not suitable for here?Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
I did a search for "sweetcorn" on A.com and MSM, I organised from lowest price to highest price and couldn't see that product listed on either site
I would have thought it would have come back as an N/A in the other stores rather than not count as a comparable item at all
I saw similar on a womble earlier today. The receipt listed £5 Ariel but the APG results didn't say show any Ariel at all. I had a look on A.com and couldn't see any Ariel on there at £5. I figured it was a whoopsie (damaged box) as they don't count as one of the 8 but now I'm not so sure
don't think it was a whoopsie, the shelf had loads of then priced 33p, this was next to the other tinned sweetcorn(the posh ones)
very strange, your right when scanned with phone on msm, it says not recognized.0 -
does anyone know what time the space station is coming over?
Neosi posted this earlier today:neosi wrote:For the Stargazers
This weekend sees the peak of the Perseid meteor shower, you'll see it from the East but best time will be between 12:00-03:00. Have seen a few over the past few nights but if youre up late or up early you could see upto 100 an hour.
If you do stay up till 3ish you'll also see The Moon, Jupiter and Venus which are in alignment to the East as well,
Theres a Nasa video below explaining it all better than i can

Not only that, the Space Station will be flying over the UK, below are the approx times and the direction it will appear from.
