It's over completely? I assumed they would be changing the promo onto different items. I didn't realise it was finishing altogether. Oh well good while it lasted I guess.

You might want to look on E-Bay. There are quite a few petrol vouchers for sale over there at the moment.
  • Oh I feel like screaming!!!!!
Picked up wee pup, who is busy making short work on a knuckle bone, my mum has just called to see her and told me the owners had just wanted rid!
She said that they thought it would be easier just to say her life was in danger so the rescue would take her quicker.
Well mum has just left in tears because she's now realised that the pup is with me for a week before she can be picked up by the next person so we won't be able to leave her for long, the bit that I don't get is she knew the previous owners as it was her who told us about the pup so why didn't she say anything before she found out I'd have her for a while.
She also seems to think that even when we get our dogs back it'll be OK to leave them on their own for most of the day without checking on them, makes me so mad that people would think like this.
    That's awful

Hi, I had over £1000 in nectar points last year. Collected from my Barclaycard when they ran the nectar promotion years ago.
Bought 2 iPods from Argos last Christmas which reduced the balance Considerably

I'm too tight to spend them at face value!! I want 3 or 4 times their value like CC points!!:D

Am thinking of saving them to take the Mrs to Paris on the Eurostar for her B'day!

Has anyone seen in Mr As, the little tins of Hero's in a London Bus shape, recently ?

Wondered if they are to go down in price, as they had all been removed in my store ;)
Mine had been removed too.. they were £7 initially but there was a coupon in the A mag (with ice creams on the front) for £1.50 or £2 off i think. I was hoping they'd go down too and I could use the coupons.

Ooh la la :D That sounds nice. I took OH to Paris for his 40th as a treat - was lovely but mega expensive. Booked first class on Eurostar, deffo worth splashing out on if you get a decent deal :j

Having an AGP of £20.79 at stake, I played it pretty safe buying 11 other items, lol!

Waiting for several Tesco receipts to come back too; in the meantime I also have plenty of cookies thanks to Mr T selling off all the old packaging ones at 25p per bag of 5... not only that, there are 6 in this first bag for some reason! Yum! It's shocking that the replacement cookie range in Mr T is now £1.50 for only 4 though!

I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

  • We are hiring a car in Madagascar - you hire a car and the driver is included :) We asked the rental company if there was anywhere the driver would not take us. The response:

Everywhere nowadays in Madagascar there is a high risk of being attacked by night on the road. So, don't drive by night. During the day, there are no problem.
Especially Fort Dauphin area is full of raiders attacking cars in group of ten or twenty. They carry guns and shoot.

    More excitement :D

Also keeping an eye on the foreign & commonwealth office for travel advice.

OMG really! And your paying for the privilege?

  • Our 4 T's have been running a scratchcard promo for the last 3 weeks, they were handing out scratch cards before it started and then you have to check instore each week to see if your scratch card codes match the ones they have printed instore, checked mine tonight and I've won a fiver :j

On that note I am also off to bed, can't believe that's my holiday finished and I'm back to work tomorrow :(
