Migraine much better this morning after a good nights kip, but now I have the after effects
Didnt win the lottery either
A quick question for you all
Do you think there is a line between people who do what we do to save money, and those who just want stuff for free?
I ask because I was chatting to someone the other day and she was all "oooh, free stuff, where??" but isnt prepared to make the effort and wants it handed to her on a plate
Whereas my friend who knows what I do and has benefitted from it quite nicely, is quite happy to do as much running around as she can as long as I give her the heads up on what she needs to do
Just where is the line?
Definitely a line. I don't begrudge anyone anything they get if they are prepared to get off their backsides and get it for themselves.
What I can't stand are the whiners and whingers who begrudge your bargains, yet are quite happy to take them off you for free
I don't necessarily "need" the glitches and whoopsies as such, but I'm prepared to go out and get them rather than do my shopping in M&S then moan about how much I'm spending and plead poverty.
(A certain friend of mine)
By being savvy where money is concerned, we've managed to pay the mortgage off early, owe absolutely nothing and have something put aside for a rainy day.
That gives me far more pleasure and peace of mind than designer clothes, flashy cars etc.
Why spend more than you need to?Hello All
Just passing through as I'm not good company at the moment
To many things to worry about
♥ Spiralling Up - hoping that you rescue the pup
Love to All - Stay warm ♥
Hope things sort themselves out for you soon Snap :A:AMy husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -

Hi All
We are all at Butlins Bognor lots to do but would be rude not to try the local Mr T's
Got 6 bottles of the Gran Familia Verdejo
Paid to take them away. Noticed more finishing on the 14th so will have to convince dh to come with me.
This was at 9.30 this morning xxxNow on the 5:2 diet.
Lost 25 1/2 lbs :j:j:j 33 1/2 lbs to go0
