  • My pork loins compared at the correct price, so it must be just Miss Laids, that had the problem.

    Morning all

Migraine much better this morning after a good nights kip, but now I have the after effects :(

Didnt win the lottery either :(

A quick question for you all

Do you think there is a line between people who do what we do to save money, and those who just want stuff for free?

I ask because I was chatting to someone the other day and she was all "oooh, free stuff, where??" but isnt prepared to make the effort and wants it handed to her on a plate

Whereas my friend who knows what I do and has benefitted from it quite nicely, is quite happy to do as much running around as she can as long as I give her the heads up on what she needs to do

    Just where is the line?

Definitely a line. I don't begrudge anyone anything they get if they are prepared to get off their backsides and get it for themselves.
What I can't stand are the whiners and whingers who begrudge your bargains, yet are quite happy to take them off you for free
I don't necessarily "need" the glitches and whoopsies as such, but I'm prepared to go out and get them rather than do my shopping in M&S then moan about how much I'm spending and plead poverty.
(A certain friend of mine ;))
By being savvy where money is concerned, we've managed to pay the mortgage off early, owe absolutely nothing and have something put aside for a rainy day.
That gives me far more pleasure and peace of mind than designer clothes, flashy cars etc.
Why spend more than you need to?

My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

Thanks for posting. I am a little tempted to go and get some. Not sure if it's because I really want the wine or the buzz from the glitch. thshy_2_03.gif

Hi guys, can someone please let me know what the wine deal is at the moment?
First Cape Caf! Collection Sparkling Ros!

But unsure how many to buy, or where from..... thanks in advance :money:

Buy 3 for £10 from As & compares to Ms & get about £7 back so £1 a bottle
You can buy more but has to be in threes so 3-6-9 ect
  • Morning everyone :)

Planning my first trip to T for over a week.

Some things to look out for in terms of ood sels

Ariel 25 wash as already posted by cosmic :)

    Heroes/Roses 350g - £4 each, bogof ended yesterday
    Coke 8 can bogof ended
Doritos bogof ended (now 2 for £3.50)
    Fanta/Sprite/Lilt 2l bogof ended
Sensations crisps - bogof ended now 2 for £3.50

And a few wines offers ended yesterday :)

Wines from France Grenache Syrah HP £4.99
Isla Negra Cabernet Rose/Chardonnay/Merlot HP £4.99
Gran Familia Las Primas Tempranilo/Verdejo/Rosado HP £3.99

Can't imagine a much more unhealthy shoping list than that lot :D but potentially free wine, pop, chocs and crisps gets my vote :)

    Hi All

We are all at Butlins Bognor lots to do but would be rude not to try the local Mr T's

Got 6 bottles of the Gran Familia Verdejo
Paid to take them away. Noticed more finishing on the 14th so will have to convince dh to come with me.

This was at 9.30 this morning xxx
    Now on the 5:2 diet.

    Lost 25 1/2 lbs :j:j:j 33 1/2 lbs to go
