i know exactly how you feel hun......but mine was more costly!!!
DH went to fill up my car yesterday using 5 fuel vouchers.....and put petrol in my car instead of diesel :mad:
after a blazing arguement on the forecourt, he insisted it would be fine as it was only £20 worth before he realised, then paid and filled up £50 of diesel!
It got home alright.......popped out today to As, engine management light came on, little power etc......so rang a misfuel company who kindly emptied my tank , flushed it out, and put £20 of diesel back in......and it cst me £130 :eek::eek:
so £200 for not even a quarter of a tank of diesel.....he is under strict instructions to not even sit in my car again let alone drive it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Morning all
Migraine much better this morning after a good nights kip, but now I have the after effects
Didnt win the lottery either
A quick question for you all
Do you think there is a line between people who do what we do to save money, and those who just want stuff for free?
I ask because I was chatting to someone the other day and she was all "oooh, free stuff, where??" but isnt prepared to make the effort and wants it handed to her on a plate
Whereas my friend who knows what I do and has benefitted from it quite nicely, is quite happy to do as much running around as she can as long as I give her the heads up on what she needs to do
Just where is the line?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Evening/Morning delete as you feel appropriate. I didn't get online until about 10.30 tonight and have been catching up while watching the Olympic's Closing Ceremony ...... and I have just caught up
I didn't quite manage to get up before 10ambut I did get up at 10.30am :j and went down to the car boot. Had a wander around, talking to friends, and got my fruit, flowers and paint pads ready for when the gang come to help me decorate
Then I had a chat with Mr & Mrs Cafe and had a brunch of bacon, egg, baked beans, tomoate and onion - yummy. I enjoyed myself and it was a lovely day so that helped too
I then popped into Tosco with a planned shopping listbut forgot to pick up my Tosco Direct order
so will pick that up tomorrow
As the Vauxhall garage is nearby I popped in and checked out the Meriva and have a test-drive booked for Wednesday. I am going to the Nissan dealership during the week too as I fancy a Nisssan Note
I hope you manage to rescue the pup tomorrow SD and get her to her new forever home, poor thing
Hi, I went for a corsa, very economical, just wanted to say the one I got would have cost me £14,500.00 NEW, mine was 9months old had about 3,000 on the clock and I got it for £8,000 so worth thinking about. This was from Arnold Clark, once I had decided what car I wanted I told them I didn't want a new one but it had to be approx. a year old and low mileage, they then searched their computer for my requirements. Once I had all but agreed to buy it(if they could lower the repayments a bit, which they did) I then said to them,"it will have mats and some fuel in it won't it ?", so they chucked in a set of mats and 1/4 tank of fuel.
Every little helps.I do try to keep up but sometimes life gets in the way.
I'm just a penny short of a pound. Peace and Love.

After all the uproar of him going out with Caroline Flack and her being vilified in the press, I think a lot of us are thinking "lucky girl"..., god, he's half my age :rotfl::rotfl:
Only thing I could think of him doing was the dishes cause that's what my 20 year old does in here !!!!0
