The school is 0.3 miles from here. However, you can guarantee that at 08:45 there will be 6 cars setting of to the school to take 6 kids to school they could walk it in 5 to 10 minutes max. The off licence is 0.2 miles. However they have to drive to it. I can walk that if about 3 mins. I planted some raspberry bushes which were woopsied from homebase. However, as the kids are too lazy to walk to the park they all got snapped by the kids smashing a football against them. There's not much hope if they can't walk to school never mind the park.
I was sitting in the garden the other day. The woman said to her son. I have got to go and collect *** from the park. It is 0.2 miles can't he walk!!!!!:mad::mad::mad:
I really do give up.
Dont get me started on the school run. I live about 100 steps from a school and people who live at the other end of my street drive the brats to school :mad::mad:
They dont care where or how they park. I came home from work early one day and someone had parked ON my drive
I parked my car across the drive and went up the shop :rotfl:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Before I became too big when I got the chance I'd cycle my girl to school. Distance is about 1.2 miles. That has turned into daddy's job now when he's around.
My mum use to work at a place approximately 10 - 15 mins walk down the road (possibly not even that). However, she'd always drive. Now she has knee problems.
Once this baby puts in an appearance am going to get my walking shoes out again. Don't want to end up in the same shape as my mother.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move
Lily contracted Strep B Meningitis Dec 2006  Now seemingly a normal little monster.

Good on you. I would have to. Just a shame you did not have a clamp in the garage :rotfl:
I only just noticed this in about early May when I all I could hear was lot of cars moving. I thought this sounds interesting what I'm I missing.
However, it was the school run. To be honest I hate to say it but the speed the cars come down this road it won't be long until one of these kids is run over or killed. There is one woman who is on the daily school run 0.2 miles and she drives like she driving an emergency vehicle. She comes past here at least 25-30miles and she has only come 7 houses up. She is one of those people who has to keep up with the neighbours. She had a ****** car and the people over the road bought one a lot older than hers. So she went out and bought a ********. Just sad really.0 -
Evening everyone. I'm back home from my family bbq. Just a little worst for wear. :rotfl:
Off now to try and catch up. I have a busy day tomorrow as it's my birthday . We are going away for a couple of night and I haven't even started to get anything ready. Tell a lie, I have just put some things that we are going to need in the washing machine.
I think what I need is another glass or three of vino.N1LDA0
