  • i'm gonna need that next week too!!

if i buy party plates and pizza on the same reciept as the buns, will it compare as long as i have 8 or more things?

Chicago Town offer ends 13th August so don't leave it too long to get the pizzas!

I did the APG for the OJ and knew it was almost free, but I don't really understand the others, for example, the Shreddies which is £1 in Asda, would it not be easier to buy the Shreddies in Asda? Or when you get the PP back does it mean they are cheaper than A?
I've been thinking about this for weeks, but just can't get my head around it!

Yes you could buy them in A's for £1 but people are buying them in T's so as to get a petrol coupon. HTH :)

There are advantages to having a very elderly computer system. Last night we had an electric outage, just for a minite or two but the main computer was still off when I came to it this morning.

So I fired it up, kept coming back and checking how it was doing and finally when it was up and running I got it to download last nights emails etc.

In the meantime to pass the time I washed up and vaccumed 2 rooms :D If I had succumed to the lure of the ipad this morning I would be still sat on the sofa, nothing done :rotfl:

Did something exciting happen last night, 10 pages to catch up on ....

Todays puzzle, love a good puzzle.

I have a £2 wys £20 in Sainsburys and I want to do a S v T shop. So firstly I have my one and only beer (to use a MOC). So then I have up to £17 to spend. On my bonus points app I get extra points for buying any Bold, any Lenor and any Fairy non bio.

So do any of these have a good enough price difference with T to get a near full value BM?

Or is it better to work on a Sainsburys versus Asda shop and get one shandy instead?

Also wondering now if any of these have new S MOCs on mysavyme so I'd better go and look there firstly.

We have a thick blanket of fog on the plains of Cheshire or at least around here - 5 miles down the road the sun is probally shining

    Hi Mrsfrugal,

Let's look at a simple example using the Crunchy Nut Cornflakes 750g. For every £6 you spend on cereals at T till Sunday, you get a 10p off a litre petrol voucher.

    They cost £3.14 in T but £2 in S. Buy 6 packs = £18.84.
Make your basket up to 8 different items, being sure to only add items which aren't cheaper in A or don't compare. PP will give you back £6.84, meaning you have spent £12 on the cereal. This will generate 3 x 10p petrol coupons.

If you put say 50 litres in your car, these will save you £15 off your fuel. (Put as much into your car in this transaction as possible, my husband got 80 odd in his the other day). You can generate up to 5 coupons in one shop and spend up to 5 at a time on fuel, which will knock 50p off a litre, but be aware of the £10 limit on PP and split your shopping into different transactions so as not to fall foul of this.

So, you've spent £12 nett and got 6 large boxes of cereal and saved eg £15 off your petrol. You will also have earned 18 cc points on the above, which are worth up to 76p in rewards, and I like getting the higher throughput on my credit card as we earn rewards on those as well with our bank.

    HTH :A

    Hi Lutzi1,
I have a tesco CC too which I took out last Christmas. I got a £2.50 money off voucher in the post the other day and some extra points vouchers to use. This is the first time I've ever had anything.
Just wondered why. Haven't used it since December. Thought if there was anything to get it would just come through the normal mailing and added to my points tally.

It's quicker and my locals can be very stringent on vouchers I.e 1 per product, most of my shops are targeted spend, I can't imagine trying to explain why I brought a 2p carrot or 1 6p banana, perhaps it's time to try again on manned tills as the pp don't scan at the SS tills.

I did 2 identical shops yesterday, pork, febreeze, 1 banana, a potatoe, ect, ect. The SA looked at me a bit funny and I just said to her that she must think I'm mad, :rotfl::rotfl:
I don't care though because at the end of the day, I know I'm the savy one. :D
