Argh, what a lovely thing to say Tigerwhite
Thank you
I am doing ok. Have the few moments when tears come, generally when I am walking the dogs actually - Alan used to do all the dog walking for the past 5 yearsAnd when I ring people up to do with paperwork and they say things like 'is there any reason why the phone hasn't been used recently' when I ring up to try to cancel Mr 3Dogs' mobile phone contract having already told them why I wanted to cancel. That is anger and tears
Actually, I can't cancel the contract, as both our mobiles are in my name, though, when I asked if they couldn't help me out in the circumstances, they offered to reduce the monthly payment ........ which turned out to be by £2 ..... generous eh? I told them to stuff their 'kind' offer and I am going to email 3 as I should get a better response that talking to a call centre on the indian sub-continent
Keep going 3Dogs, you are brilliant and we love you xx :A :kisses3::kisses3::grouphug:Hope is not a strategy.0 -
Can I ask a really silly question?
I did the APG for the OJ and knew it was almost free, but I don't really understand the others, for example, the Shreddies which is £1 in Asda, would it not be easier to buy the Shreddies in Asda? Or when you get the PP back does it mean they are cheaper than A?
I've been thinkig about this for weeks, but just can't get my head around it!
I know what you are saying because I thought the same for a while. If you buy the product like the Shreddies, it will give you the PV at the moment. There are other reasons though, some don't have A's/T's/S's nearby and doing the APG type shop means that you still get the item at the best price available. The other thing is that many of us have coupons for specific supermarkets, if the item is more expensive at that supermarket and you use a coupon, you actually get the item cheaper than the cheapest supermarket.
e.g Ariel £4 in A's
Ariel £5 in T's
But I have a SSM voucher for £1 off in T's so use that, then with PP/APG/BM it means you only pay £3 for the product
Hope that makes sense until someone else comes along and explains it betterIf it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:0 -

Why, you'll never get a till spit on the SS tills?
I rarely use them, my mocs and PP's are all genuine, so put them thru the manned till , it quicker than waiting for an SA to authorise your mocs on the SS tills !:D
It's quicker and my locals can be very stringent on vouchers I.e 1 per product, most of my shops are targeted spend, I can't imagine trying to explain why I brought a 2p carrot or 1 6p banana, perhaps it's time to try again on manned tills as the pp don't scan at the SS tills.0 -
No idea. I did my shop after 9pm, so maybe it's tomorrow's price kicking in already? I know MSM was still showing £3 as I checked it on my phone in the store.

Scotland has been £2 a pack for a couple of weeks nowApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
I have had loads of trouble with that same phone company. Im on a cashback contract and no matter what I do I cant get my bills online, I asked and asked for them to be sent out with huge problems.
Then I got a phone for the OH, thats when the real problems came, he is also on a cashback contract and they were sending me both bills on the same sheet, they claimed they could not send me two separate bills, this was on the same day that the news was reporting that they had managed to replace a womans entire face. When I said this to the lady on the phone she was really shocked and reported to Vodafone that she was also complaining.
I did then get separate bills, and a £25 refund.Love your Mum, you'll never get another one when she's gone.0 -
zippydooda
the coupon out of the MAG scans against any frozen pizza:D
I tried this with the pizza bagettes, and it worked twice, but it didn't scan the 3rd time, and the SA checked I had bought the correct product, and I haven't had the nerve to try it on the other pizzas since
someone else pointed this out. so im ready with this yarn:)0 -

Well you said it Scotland a law unto itself, ie no multi buys on wine etc, although it's stil free.
It's amazing how when I buy TU clothes they never fit but the beer and vouchers do :cool:0 -
