Argh, what a lovely thing to say Tigerwhite :o:o Thank you

I am doing ok. Have the few moments when tears come, generally when I am walking the dogs actually - Alan used to do all the dog walking for the past 5 years :( And when I ring people up to do with paperwork and they say things like 'is there any reason why the phone hasn't been used recently' when I ring up to try to cancel Mr 3Dogs' mobile phone contract having already told them why I wanted to cancel. That is anger and tears  :( Actually, I can't cancel the contract, as both our mobiles are in my name, though, when I asked if they couldn't help me out in the circumstances, they offered to reduce the monthly payment ........ which turned out to be by £2 ..... generous eh? I told them to stuff their 'kind' offer and I am going to email 3 as I shoudl get a better response that talking to an call centre on the indian sub-continent ;)

I had a problem with my bill with vodaphone after cancelling my contract, they were being unco-operative...I sent them an email saying how would they like me to cancel my final DD and I would be contacting OFCOM.....they soon back tracked....

don't talk to Mumbai..send them an email!;)

Woo Hoo .......................... the van started today after another overnight charge :j :j I left it running for about 45 minutes after starting it to make sure it was ok. Later, after blowing up the tyre on the van again :(, I went along to the tyre place neighbour recommended to find that they wouldn't remove the tyres from the rims I had and fit them on the van, as they couldn't guarantee the work  and when they checked tyres on the van, they said the front drivers one was right on the limit and I had a mixture of different size tyres

Cut a long story short, it cost me £142 for two new tyres and they switched them around so the two new ones were on the front. Not too bad though as I thought that I'd definitely need a new battery at about £80/£90 but when they checked it, they said it was ok, just, with standing for so long, it needed a good run

So, not a very :money: day for me, but the van is safe to use and roadworthy again, and that's what matters at the moment :D

Lady from The Pension Service has just been and we completed forms to see if Alan was still due any G/Pension Credit from 12/3 to 3/7. If there is any due it will be paid into my bank account, but I am not sure there will be any to come. Will wait and see, as I would like to be pleasantly surprised ;)

Lovely sunny day today - good drying day so I washed the throws off the sofa & chairs :j

I'm hoping to get one tomorrow from T's. I'm planning on using £7 off wys £50 and £4 off wys £40, along with O/H staff discount and then double up ccv to pay for the rest. I wonder if I'll get away with it, :D

Can't see why it wouldn't work - would love it if my OH worked for T's - a man on the inside. Let us know how you get on xxxx

That's dreadful, I would contact some sort of ombudsman over that, basically they are penalising you for losing a loved one, which is despicable

I would call again and ask to speak to a manager or write a scathing letter or e-mail, how awful for you to be asked again as well, have a (((((hug))))) xxxx
