I was 8 months pregnant with DS, first day of my last week at work, and crashed my motorbike (yes I know I shouldn't have been on it but have always been stubborn when it came to being told what to do by people in authority!) but I still went into work I think I was in shock because I ended up being found in the store room in tears but the manager was more upset at being called in to work than worrying about my baby :mad: She also got very angry when DH phoned her later to say I wouldn't be in until at least the weekend but not at all if he could help it.
Thankfully DS was fine and is now a great 11 year old and starting secondary school in September.
Feeling ok now thanks. It was just the shock of the situation I think and then the anger at how badly the situation was handled. I'm sure some people just arent human! they dont consider how fragile and protective you feel over a little person inside you.**** Itchin' for a glitchin' ****0 -
