I was plodding along with my plans for the day so nicely, and then I see a Grabbit which took my interest, so out the door I go. £86 later but I have loads of stuff....for anyone local, JJB in Filton are 75% everything today

I even got an England Rugby shirt for £12.50

And a Team GB t-shirt that I will be wearing proudly this evening :T

I had to "go a bit fast" coming home....I left my cake in the oven

Weather here is a bit odd. Very, very black sky out the back but blue sky out the front. The wind has picked right up though so maybe the storms are headed our way too

    aren't JJB 75% off usually:p

    or is that sports direct???:D

    morning everyone :)

you could try asking them to extend it?
i had a new look gift card i found about three months ago id forgotten about that expired two weeks before and it had £30 but i went in the store and told them id spoken to bosses and theyd told me to explain what had happened and get it put on new card (small white lie) but it worked and they gave me new card with same balance and new expiry date.
    or email them and explain?

Thankyou :) I shall try that.
  • I can confirm that I bought 6 of the 350g Lake District mature cheddar at £3 each in T and used 3 of the '£1.50 off if you spend £6 on cheese' price flop coupons and got a price promise voucher for £6 as the cheese is £2 in A

    6 @ £3 = £18
    - 3 x £1.50 price flop coupons
    - £6 jtd
    = £7.50 for the 6 packs

It has a use by date of November so don't even need to freeze it which is handy as I've no freezer space - my freezer's been porked :)

    Good afternoon everyone.

    Had a great shop - £62.41 down to £14.50.

Used a £6 off £40, £5 off £40, £2 off £20, £5.06 PP and "a few" other vouchers including L'oreal, threw in a few pizzes and Febreze too. Nice chatty young SA, had a bit of a laugh with her too.

That is the way I like shopping.

Lovely sunshine here now, half my washing dry and the rest still on the line.

Having a great day so far :T:T:T

Mad rush here as Fourp due home around 2pm & I need to make bed, wash up & generally get sorted here :eek:
But I have been to Mr T this morning after doubling up my CC vouchers for cat stuff & I muled it home. 3 bags of cat litter, umpteen tins of cat food, milk, Coppella, loo rolls & 4kgs of cat biscuits.
My arms are so tired :o but I'm not paying for a taxi it rather rules out any savings :)
    £49 odd down to £17 :T:T:T

Can I ask a question about printing a pp from Mr T please?

I bought Robinsons squash and have got a pp for £2.** but when I printed it the barcode hasn't printed properly, I've printed it twice and both times come out the same.

I did change ink cartridge before printing but as all the text is in black and printed fine I'm now bamboozled

If the numbers are above the barcode it should be ok, mine haven't scanned once so they have to manually input them anyway.

Sports Direct is the one that "usually" has 75% off. I cant stand that place. It stinks of sweat and BO and they pack everything in there too close to the next rail along

JJB are fighting closure for being too blimming expensive! Today's prices are much more my cup of tea.

Except the SA didnt take the tag off the bottom of one of my pairs of trackie bottoms. Anyone got any ideas how to take it off?
