Very well said. Because people with mental illness is so hard to actually see, its so often ignored or just put down to a persons laziness etc etc. A great shame.....so much wasted talent in depressives too!

such a backward comment for such an intelligent man if you don't mind me saying

who on earth says depressive's are lazy:eek::mad:

often they are very high achievers, the best in their field, academically bright and perfectionsist's

please don't label people with you're incorrect prejudicial views

I don't think that was what fk was saying...

He was saying depression can be perceived as laziness not that depressives are lazy xx

depression is an illness, those who suffer from it are no more in control of this illness than a person who suffers from cancer or heart disease or any other life threatening illness.
this illness makes the poor people who have it often feel so wretched and without hope that they feel the only way to ease the suffering is to take their own life.
it is the illness that causes them to think in this way.

i do wish that people would be more sympathetic about this.

i feel sad this morning that someone would be more concerned at being held up on the motorway than feeling sympathy for the loss of a life to an illness:(

Well said grass roots :T x
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.

I couldn't agree more, depression itself is a killer. Even family members of people who suffer with depression, don't fully understand just how bad it actually makes them feel.

Well I'm speechless for once!!!I did a bit of shopping in A's last night but definately didnt expect to get an APG for it, but force of habit made me check it as it had 9 items on. It kept coming up not enough items so a quick phone call to A's as it was bugging me;) and they asked what I bought and said it definately should have compared so are sending me a £3 giftcard:T:T:T:T:T
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:
