    hi :)
I was thinking about giving this wombling a try but not sure of do and don'ts, would be grateful for any help TIA, :)

    Wombling clubcard points.

Only 2 receipts with points can be added per day (at CS, or manned tills depending on SA and express stores quite easily)
Up to 2 weeks to put the points on from the date of the receipt.
I recommend 1 receipt paid by with cash and the other with card. So it doesn't look like you've wombled other people's receipts or you might get a trouting like I did the other day:o:o

    Price promise.
You can PP receipts with and without clubcard numbers on. The receipts with CC numbers will have the last digit * out. you just have to type in 1-9 to guess the last number. Pretty easy.

Receipts without CC numbers, you just need a valid CC number and it will price check still:T:T

Oh and receipts need more than 8 items to price check.

HTH. I'm sure someone has already beaten me to it:o:o:o

That's why the OP said "if buy as part of a pp (price promise/porky) shop". ;)

    Evening all

Just catching up - had a fabulous weekend in N Ireland with family. Gutted I missed the fabulous Pepsi glitch, though!

Just been for first shop to T's since getting back and was tired & achey and probably shouldn't have but wanted to get some bits which finish on offer tonight

So, good & bad................did a £50.sth shop down to £28.sth after vouchers which I was dead chuffed about. Included some cereal so got 1 petrol voucher for dad

Seperate shop for pork & cereal for another voucher. All went through fine

Then just leaving the till & realised I'd not used either of my PP's  Went to Customer Service but they couldn't do anything so left with both in my purse (one for £10 one for £5.79)

Went to the car - loaded in shopping & decided to go back in & get a few more pork to use the £10 one. Got two pork, other small bits, went to self service - total £12.29, scanned PP..................................................can't be flaming used on self service :mad::mad:

Lovely lady on the tills said she'd save the transaction & put it though on other till. She then really scrutinised receipt. Felt really uncomfortable about it. She then asked what had compared (it was a pork receipt for £17 sth) Knew it was a risk doing such a small shop - should've known better really. I mumbled couldn't remember :o:o

Anyway, paid my £2.29 and scurried off. It was only then I realised that I'd not used my club card. Will this now compare? Have put it in the checker - hope so. So, not only does it have no club card, it is a "recalled transaction" on another till so I really hope it does go through otherwise that was an expensive two packs of pork :eek::eek:

The variety packs were £1.04 when I was instore yesterday lunchtime, nearly boogered up my shopping! Manged to recover it ok though, just seen my price porkie for £6.XX :j :D
Not bad for a £23.99 spend down to £10.99
ETA and 3 fuel coupons as well :D

    No problem:)

    Any questions just ask :)

    but be aware it's addictive:o

Plus you can womble Asda receipts with their APG and you get results after 3 hours after you have shopped. Need 8 items again though, but they give you the 10% if not cheaper:T
