To top it all went into Tosco (local express) for some whoopsies (vain attempt to justify the spend) and had an awful experience. Used the ss till and the till would not recognise any of the reductions, sa was really grumpy that she had to get up off her chair at the counter and help me. My dd was helping pack the bag and she moved an item and it said "unexpected item.. etc ..." the sa came to the till and shouted at my daughter for moving the bag. :eek: I was fuming. :mad:
Did not want to tell the sa what I thought of her in front of my daughter but told her to leave it and consoled my daughter who was crying by this time. The sa then decided to pick up my shopping, throw it on the floor and shouted that is what happens when you move the bag. I left the store, shopping and all and have complained to HO via the survey website thingy. (Do you think they will read this or should I call them?)

I know that it can be stressful working in T's and I am always polite to the shop assistants but that was unbelievable. Think that my dd was more shocked than anything, she is only 8, a really good girl who only wanted to help.
Needless to say that have wrung my hands through my expensive hair cut and now look like I have been dragged through a hedge backwards. Have to laugh or I will cry.

I would email Uncle Phil ASAP (must get so many emails these days:rotfl:) seriously shocking SA! bang out of order.

I always try to be polite too, as I know from first hand experience how stressful it is working in that environment. But to throw the shopping on the floor:eek::mad::mad::mad: that's madness.

I have been looking at this too and most are £1 in asda and dearer in T's so no APG opportunity as far as I can see. But 50p isn't a bad price as I never seem to find any offers on these.
