    aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaauuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want to smack everyone at the little trio of branch GP surgeries I belong to! WHYYYYYYYYYY is it sooooooooo difficult to get my results out of them? They said they don't leave messages unless the answerphone has my name on the message, fine, so I do it, but they then didn't tell me what I wanted to know i.e. specific numbers that I asked for, they just said it's normal, so I have to call again!

I want numbers!! HbA1c is ..........% and total cholesterol is ???, it's not THAT difficult!!

Awaiting another call, have to go out now so will probably get another message, come on people!!

Pees me off too that info about ME is so hard for ME to get hold of!

Just an idea. If you have a local Freecycle group why not try putting a wanted message on asking if anyone has part packets of pull ups they no longer need?

It is so long since I potty trained I would have no idea where to start now and we had to do it without any modern inventions like pull ups :D
I had a potty chair which went everywhere with us

we took our potty everywhere for my little one while training, remember it was summer hols and we took it to all the days outs and theme parks with us-got some really funny looks off folk but i didn't care:p:p:p:p, stopped several times on motorways to use it, it was far too easy to stick the nappy or pull up back on if you were going out or busy that day. As soon as I psychologically decided myself pants and potty only, he was sorted:T

    Oh god I may cry.

No HbA1c was done! So the first lot they don't label the bloods properly so no results, so I fast for another 12 hours and get more bloods done, then they do everything but the most important one, the HbA1c!

I am so unbelievably angry, the whole point was to get the HbA1c and they haven't done it! I've called the main branch and demanded to speak to the practise manager, I've told the enquiries woman all about it and she's promised a call back within an hour.

    I AM ABSOLUTELY FUMING!!!! :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

don't know what to say hun, happens all too often in my surgery, drives me mad, and we have label printers but the blasted health care assistants still manage to get it wrong :mad::mad:

defo spk with PM , also worth asking if the lab could still do the hba1c on the last sample

  • Morning all,

Just like to thank MMW again for her generosity.

I have used all my beer/shandy coupons, and shared some of the stash with family.

Also went to Dunblane yesterday and saw the postbox being painted GOLD for Andy Murray!!!! I think Royal Mail did well with this idea!:T:T:T

I got my email this morning from bzz and I am now on the Tesco campaign :T - thought I'd missed out on this one but they must still be recruiting.

Has anyone else had their TPPs back from T shops done yesterday - they usually come in over night but I've got nothing so far ...
(I will never get used to Tesco price Promise, it will always be JTD!)

Has anyone got a picture or a barcode of the £1 non-bio boxes?

Here is hoping for some good enough glitches today. I got an unexpected bill of £112 to pay so I've just got to grit my teeth and get on and write the cheque

Can any of you wonderful Elite tell me the cheapest way to send a parcel to America? Daughter doing a years placement with Walt Disney and it is her birthday end of the month - would so like her to have a parcel to open but worried the postage will cost more than the parcel - any ideas???

:) Just ensure the parcel doesn't weigh over 2kgs as the rate triples. It's cheaper if it is, to send 2 parcels then.

I would not worry too much about having to take back and swap cat food. I imagine that people taking cat food back would be a daily occurances, such finicky creatures -one day they would kill for a certain brand, the next they would rather eat their own foot than eat the exact same food.
I had some tinned whiskas in gravy which I got when the price difference was good in Asda and my brood happily tucked into it until one day I had a mass revolt and no one would touch it.
I had receipts and I could have taken the remaining packs back, dithered about it but decided to hang onto the tins anyway. Sure enough a month later they have gone from eating Felix sensations to Whiskas Bite and Chew and now back to Whiskas tinned in gravy :D

Ditto :o one week it's jelly, then meatloaf, then gravy, then supermeat, then foil trays....:o:o
I had to return 3 sacks of very cheap Whiskas biscuits as Ancient Cat had a very bad tummy :o
Today they are eating Bite & Chew - tomorrow is another day :rotfl:
