aren't you the one who normally says swallow it rather than drawing attention to yourself?:o:D:p

personally i have retuned odd items in the past that haven't compared usually wait until after i have used the apg/pp

also try and avoid my local store for returns, less likley to get trouted if they don't know you, also helps if the recipt wasn't marked by the cashier in the first place;)

I returned something yesterday just after I brought it, because I thought the SA had done as 7 items but turns out it still compared so £7.71 back :D

    Evening all!

Potential heads up for a holiday bargain.

Mighty Deals have 7 nights in a one bedroom apartment on the Costa Almeria for up to 4 peeps for £59.00 (says £59.99 on first page but then changes to £59.00 when you click through - but who cares at that price?). Place gets pretty good reviews generally (there's always the odd moaner). I'm familiar with Petchey Leisure resorts in Portugal ( have visited friends there) and Tenerife (where I've spent a night). They usually have beautiful well presented grounds and facilities and are a pleasure to stroll around, the accommodation is not quite as hot as the outdoor space but much more than acceptable. Terms are as follows

7 nights for up to four people in Costa de Almeria, Spain - now £59 instead of £279.30 (up to 79% off)
Stay at the stunning Vera Beach Club in a one-bedroom self-catering apartment to sleep up to 4 people
Health club with gym, pool, sauna and Jacuzzi
Plus plenty of other attractions including two outdoor pools and vast gardens
Just minutes from beaches, bars and restaurants

    Deal Terms
Once deal is purchased, Mighty Deals will send you your confirmation of purchase.
Your voucher code will be sent 24 hours after purchase, along with the booking contact details.

Book by 10 November 2012 for stays between 1 November 2012 and 31 March 2013.
Valid for up to 4 people sharing a one-bedroom apartment (double or twin) with double sofa bed.
    Excludes flights and transfers.
Original price checked on 30 April 2012 at 10am.
    Mighty Deals T&Cs apply.

You can refer it to friends and earn 25% off their spend as well, so potential to reduce the cost further. ;) Apartments have a full kitchen and a washing machine.

We have taken one, seems rude not to at that price. If we don't like it, we can always move somewhere else, lol.

Potential Elite meet up? :) (Snap-Ant, no coaches involved xxx :))

We had this offer last year for £25.00. Went the first week in December. The appartment was spotless and very well equiped. The complex was excellent. A couple of large supermarkets within a few minutes drive - Carrefour was one. Vera Beach is lovely (just make sure you are dressed correctly:o;) - some areas do not require clothes). You can walk along the promanade to Garrucha - brilliant fish auction at the harbour most days at 5.00pm - boats come in, unload and then the auction. Great photo's if you are into that. Cabo de Gata: 'Salinas de Cabo de Gata' - Flamingoes etc - if you like wildlife. You can park foc and walk a short way to the lookouts. Amazing. About an hours drive from Vera. Massive market in Garrucha every week. Mojocar, short drive away is fascinating to visit the old town but gets mobbed on market day. The Sierra Nevadas are a couple of hours drive - we had brilliant sunshine but you could see the snow capped mountains! Didn't bother with the 'mini Hollywood' type theme parks.

Vera Beach resort is very quiet during our winter months - lots of the bars/restaurants were closed down but still quite a few were open. Staff at the resort were excellent. Some people were affected by the air strikes but the Manageress was so helpful to the people involved. If they knew that their flights were cancelled, she let them stay on foc. If they were unsure, she made arrangements for them at another Pechey site nearer to the airport, so that if their flights were cancelled they had somewhere to stay - again foc.

We used it as a base for touring the area.

We thought that there would be a catch with the offer -dragged in for timeshare etc - we weren't. Can reccommend it.

Does anyone fill 2 cars up with one set of vouchers as the hose is long enough to reach both sides of the pump?

Do you go with your OH and do the 2 vehicles at one sitting? I can't imagine it breaches any Ts and Cs??

    What do you guys think?

    edit:

Just checked my voucher and it says valid for one vehicle only :(

I filled up two vehicles. Put them through on one transaction. The voucher took the money off both fill ups.
help please I have just applied to dwell thanks op :) and now have the voucher on screen but no printer to print it off  :(

is there some way I can save it to print at a later date please?

Probably been answered but I think they send you an email with it too.

    Morning everyone,
It's the first day of my maternity leave so ready to run after any glitches as soon as they strike! So nice having more time to read up on bargains rather than getting up early and running off to work :)

If your reciept is a bit dirty tell them u had it in the spud bag.

I tell them it was on the floor of OH's van, hence footprints and dirt.

Cool. Go open the window and hang out, watching the sky for big forks. Pray for one to hit really close!

It'll make you jump out of your skin and the hairs on your neck stand up, but it'll make you feel soooo alive! Brilliant feeling you won't forget in a hurry.

I've seen lightening strike ground within 200 yds of me twice.......its brilliant. Scarey of course but an amazing feeling.

When we were down stopping with family in Guildford in April there was a storm over head then. I opened the curtains to watch it. Suddenly from no where came with bolt of lightening it hit the outside light and bounced of metal window frame. That was close enough I was only 3 meters from it. :rotfl:
