Well, we had a houseful over the weekend but both son number one and eldest child went off on the Manchester train at lunchtime.

Eldest child got home in 2 hours.

Son number one was supposed to catch his flight at 15.40 but he is still there, could now be 5 hours late  Its still showing as "scheduled 15.40"

Does anyone know how long is it when a flight is late that they get compensation of some sort? Is it someone on the website?
Assume at some stage they get food and drink vouchers????
    Its a T Cook flight

His flight is 5 hours and someone was supposed to collect him when he got home so that now will be someone else and in the middle of the night. And he said he was so glad to be going home, got really fed up of the constant rain and wanted 40 C back :D

    Talking of condiment takeaways.....

I have umpteen hotel shampoos, conditioners, shower caps, combs, soaps & shower gels :o:o:o

I can never resist these too, and they just sit there in the cupboard. When I went away a few months back, there was a donation centre in the conference centre I went to for these for a womens' refuge - just a small thing but they collected loads!

That works even better for me - you feel like you are taking something you've paid for and also helping others :D

I'm in a bit of a tizz....think I've mixed up my APG's and given the wrong receipt with one of them :o
Otherwise, I've lost one and the one I handed over, the SA has given it back without scribbling on .
I'm worried that if I print off a voucher for the receipt I have, it might come up as already used IYSWIM.
But if I don't use it, it might be perfectly legit and it was the other one I used which had the wrong APG attached to it!!

I'm confusing myself here.....but basically what I need to know is whether anyone has had an APG come up as already been redeemed. It would be soooo embarassing if that happened and I'd rather forfeit the £17 odd, but if it doesn't I'll just print off another voucher to go with the receipt I have.
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

  • No it doesn't on APG's so if you have the correct receipt then just print the right voucher for it and bin the other one. :)

    Good morning everyone.

Happy birthday to Wackynut and anyone else who's birthday it is!

How many years' worth have you got now?

I have several years' worth of the Febreze!

Ooooooh, do behave. Seriously though Happy we do love you here, but there is a line you should not cross and we realise you know where that line is.

Fudgie, I recognise my father in this. I was the middle child in between two brothers, and I always got the blame, never the praise. Silly little things like I won a competition but had to give the prize to my little brother because he had not won!

He spent most of his time telling me how dumb I was and how I could not do anything. I made the mistake of believing him. Incidentally I am not dumb, have an IQ of 153 :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:(not that that means I am clever, just bright!!)

    Please change your mindset NOW.

A couple of things to remember: Your father is not always right, you are a wonderful person.

I spent tooo long believing him, believing I was a useless person.

I haven't seen him in for a few years, mainly because he married a woman who I got on fine with and overnight changed into a dragon when they got married.

I am in touch with him though, just could not stand the thought of talking to him face to face. I tried it a few years ago and he was ripping into me again within minutes.

Just as an example, the last time I spoke to him I was informed that I did not need to wear my glasses all the time!! !!!!!!! It came out of nowhere. My eyes are -5.00 and -4.75, if I tried to go without my glasses I would get nowhere. But this time I ignored him.

sending you a hug and well done on not believing him anymore. :T :)
