We bought a house on shared equity scheme but coming to end of our fixed rate with halifax and about to drop on to there very attractive 3.99% my question is to fix or not to fix my rate again :S how often do SVRs change? and how much notice do you get?

you will probably get a months notice of a SVR change
however, if the rate is going up, all the decent fixed rate deals will already have been withdrawn from the market0 -
I have asked the broker who originally sold us our mortgage for an opinion she is going to get back to us on the matter, but from what I have read its really frustrating, because we are shared equity, we have a limited range open to us apparently.0
