The comment was meant to be tongue in cheek. An ‘all bells and whistle’ wedding can hardly be termed environmentally friendly(and why indeed should it be?). So the Vicar on a bike doesn’t alter the ‘price of fish’.
I, as most of us do, use my private jet for all my travel, but to let you know how environmentally aware I am, I insist on my personal pilot riding to the airfield on a bicycle!0
