Fruit curd - What have I done wrong?

I was being all old style and decided to make lemon and line curd with left over citrus fruit that would have just gone in the bin.

I washed 2 kilner style jars and put them in the oven for 10 mins to sterlise - switched the oven off and left them in to cool down while I made my curd.

When I took the jars out they were still really warm and obviously so was my curd - I have poured my curd in and sealed as required in recipe but now I have just gone through to check that they are cool enough to go in the fridge and they have loads of consendation in them.

What should I do? It cant be good for the curd for that water to be in there? Do I open and wipe down or will it sort itself out.

Sorry if I am being thick - I have never been the most practical in the kitchen.

PS If anyone wants the recipe I am happy to share. It tastes great (if a bit tart - which I prefer)
