Admin fee

we took out a remortgage with Halifax last year,can you good people tell me if the £125 Admin fee is standard, or can we try and claim these expensive fees back.

It is pretty standard.
Why would you try to claim these back - surely they would have been plainly set out in your offer letter.
Then would have been the time to ask not now!0 -
Do you not mean a product switch, rather than a remortgage? In other words, wasn't your mortgage already with Halifax?
In which case, there's absolutely no reason why you should be able to reclaim those fees. It was your own choice to switch products; you have to pay whatever fees they specify.0
