Just had half a brain wave! Is it possible to still get those mortages which factor in earnings from renting a room out?
I've just found this property, and thought wow If I go halfs with someone I could afford half, then thought who do I trust enough and who has enough money. Which got me thinking about mortages with intent to rent a room out

Do these exist or am I barking up the wrong tree?

However their maths is way out "However, they can let a room to a friend at £50 per week" A friend wants £500 a mth and thats not in London! I paid £60 a week to a friend for her room back in 2003!
I know it's an example but they could of set it on realistic numbers!Aspiring to be financially independent.... from my parents!0 -

I charge £65 per week (including bills) and despite trying to get £70 lately, I find £65 is the going rate around here.
