    We are using a mortgage advisor ...... we are now going to proceed and see if we can get a mortgage .... what have we got to lose

    House is £168k, mortgage is £127k. then you'll have an upto 80% LTV mortgage. If you can manage to find another £1,300 you'll get a better rate from having 75%

    I STAND CORRECTED

    Price is £161.280 with 20% equity loan deducted = £134.400

    5% deposit on £134.400 = £127.680

    total mortgage £127.680

    It now turns out there are no more new build plots available on this site and a 168k mortgage will be £930 per month

    Time to look at caravans i think :rotfl:
