Hi everyone.
I've decided to do a hamper for my 14 year old niece but not sure what to put in it!
She loves clothes shopping but don't want to just get vouchers as that what she gets for birthdays!
So far have got a shopping bag, umbrella and i'm thinking of a purse. Then i'm stuck.
Had a quick look a the hamper threads but not much ideas there. Plenty of ideas pinched for other hampers mind you :rotfl:
All ideas gratefully received:j :j :j

a train or coach ticket (plus one for a friend/family member) to a nearby town? Towns will often have a map of the shopping district in their tourist office, you could include that?
A nice pen & notebook to make her shopping list on?0 -
How about one of those money tins for saving up for her shopping trip? Or some of these http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Foot-Factory-Cushions-Includes/dp/B006GCZYNY/ref=sr_1_13?s=drugstore&ie=UTF8&qid=1343984444&sr=1-13.
Also maybe a giftcard for Starbucks or Costa or something for a refreshment break whilst shopping?:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator

A while ago Home Bargains had purple hooks with a picture of a shoe and the word Shopaholic on it, it was only 49p and would bulk the hamper out.

Also maybe a pair of flat ballet pumps for walking around the shops in?0 -
This sounds like a great idea.
Fashion magazines - so she can get some inspiration before her trip. Some shops do their own versions.
Discount vouchers - some shops email you special offers, or you get them in magazines (e.g. 20% off) so you could include some of these.
I've seen money boxes in some pound-type shops that say things like 'shoe fund' - she could put away her pennies until she see's something she likes.
a style book - so she can start thinking about what suits her etc.
a shopping centre map - especially if she is going somewhere she hasn't been before like Westfield in London.0 -
I did a shopaholic hamper for my mum once. It contained a pen & notebook for jotting down things to buy, a pair of 'party feet' type shoe insert for tired feet (maybe add foot cream too?), some energy tablets, an iced coffee long life drink, 'I love shopping' magnet, a shopaholic t shirt & it was all in a tote bag.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

How about a trolley token as well? I know a few clothes shops where I used to live had trolleys, although where I live now they just have baskets. It'd save her having to put a pound in though if she ever came across one like that.
Most of my ideas were already here though so that's about all I can think of.0
