Mm, rice pudding with raspberry jam sounds ideal... I might have some of that tonight! And thank you Dundeedoll, I am feeling a bit more inspired having read your ideas, and grateful that I won't need to spend as much as I may have previously thought
I'm getting really tearful and nervous now, having a big leaving party this weekend and generally freaking out about moving away!0 -
Some ideas to use up what you have already:
chicken breasts cooked in mushroom soup in slow cooker served with rice and topped with parmesan cheese
lamb chops in slow cooker with the lentils, tomato puree, tomatoes and spices, served with couscous
minestrone soup with the pasta and the cannelini beans
Other than that, I'd be tempted to buy ready made meals or loose meat and veg in exact quantities to tide you over for a few days.0 -

Thanks all! The meal plan officially starts today. I am loving the chicken with mushroom soup idea, will definitely be going with that, (bought some chicken today). And the lamb with couscous sounds lush... I don't want to leave now, I want to cook all these lovely things!
6 days until I leave the country, I am absolutely bricking it!0 -
