Hello I hope this is the right forum. My daughter has been given a box full of second hand designer baby clothes by a family friend (her baby is due soon :j). BUT the friend doesn't know how to wash, these clothes have barely been worn but they are dull and lifeless. Can anyone advise me of a product to brighten them up? They are all colours but as they are baby clothes I don't want to use harsh methods.
Thanks

I'd give them a good wash & extra rinse with a washing powder or liquid you (or your daughter) know works in your (or your daughter's) washing machine & see how they come out when washed and dried and ironed if needed. And if they don't look great, don't dwell on them, use what's usable and say 'oh well, at least baby sick won't ruin them!'

i'd use white vinegar as the "conditioner" after a wash. the smell evaporates, won't harm the clothes or baby and will brighten up colours
