Assaulted at work for an ex-employee (company under administration)

I am sorry for my English, I am better speaking than writing. (It is not my first language)
Well I just came here to see if I could find some real advice. I mean of someone that may know what to do in my case.
As I said, yesterday I was attacked for one ex employee now. He came into the shop (it was not the first time he would come into the shop to harass me) to tell me he is resigning, I just said 'good bye' and he started pushing me; as a self-defense I pushed him back and told him to leave, but then he started to assault me.
I have all the complaints made to the company and a couple of records when he is harassming.
I want to raise a claim, but because the company just entered into administration I am not quite sure how to proceed.
Thanks

Firstly, it's not your companys fault, it is the fault of the employee.
If you want to pursue a claim against the company, you need to have ideally written evidence of all the complaints you have made and the action they took, if any. You will need to prove that they have acted negligently in respect to your health and welfare whilst at work.
You also need to consider your own actions in this, because if they can prove that you have been provoking the other employee I suspect your case will be somewhat diminished.I have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off

your post is rather hard to read, can you tidy it up a bit?0

If your management communication style is like your prose above, I can see why no one paid attention to your complaints before.0

Jeez give the OP a break they started out by stating that English was not their first language and that they spoke it better than they wrote. I was able to understand it, unfortunately I have no idea what to do in that situation :S Sorry OP!0

You need to report the assault to the police - were there any witnesses or CCTV?"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

raise a claim for what and on whom?
Your main issue is being assaulted?
Have you contacted the Police?0 -
What do you want to claim??? You will not be entitled to claim anything from the company.. Why didn't you call the police? If goes to court you may get £15 for victim surcharge or summat but you ain't going to make anything trying to claim for injury from the company0

pathetic question IMO, seeking to extract cash from his employer. Call the police! Or is that what you really want is cash out of the system?
If you HAVEN'T even called the police yet you're asking this question then that says it all really.0 -
Well, I wanted to raise a claim against my employer because I sent reports to my bosses that a disciplinary producedure should be conducted to encourage that person to behave accordingly, but they did nothing.
when this was happening, luckily the girlfried called the police, although this guy accused me of assaulting him. however later on I pressed charges against him. But after speaking with the police today, they adviced me to not take the matter further becuase the guy was very clever to come to the shop with his girlfriend and she would be his witness. unfortunately there is no cameras in the shop and noone else saw what it happened.
I guess I have nothing else to do. I am just very upset this happened, when I was insistently demanding the company to do something.0
