Anyone worked for Orridge???

Hi everyone, Just wanted to ask a quick question.

My daughter has got an interview for the company Orridge, their a stocktaking company

has anyone had an interview or worked for them before just to get a little bit more info, so she knows what it entails

According to previous posts on this forum, they offer a zero hours contract i.e. no guaranteed minimum hours. No one has said anything about their interviews.

I did attend the interview just basics of showing you the equipment you use when stocktaking, I was offered a zero hours contract which I turned down, but recently I think they are offering 6 hour per week contracts, If you daughter is a car driver then she would get a mileage allowance and possibly pick up fellow stocktakers.

I would call these typical stocktaking jobs as useful for picking up extra money and precarious for a regular income. Realise that there will be dead periods in all of December and around Easter public holidays when stores are busy selling and not rubbing their chins about their stock.
As for the work, you need a high boredom threshold and to be able to work without someone there to talk to. Simple maths and presence of an IQ helps.
