Cheap homebrew at Wilko's

Just popped in to my local Wilkinson's (Altrincham) to pick up some homebrew stuff and one of the staff came over to tell me they're updating the lines they stock, so are having a clear out. There were:

Homebrew lager/bitter/cider/stout canned kits for £2 (normally up to £15 - all that was left was Edme and Youngs)
Wine concentrate kits from £1
Homebrew starter kit (bucket, syphon, thermometer etc including a canned kit) for £5 - the new line that was replacing this was £37

Worth checking out at your local one, doesn't look like there is anything online - the clearance shelves were half empty so there may be more bargains to be had.

My Dad uses this so would have been a great bargain

yes i rang clacton and colchester too and neither of those have any reduced. looks store specific.
though i have to say Ipswich stocks have been low recently so i'm wondering if they are holding back ready for new lines

Thanks went to Altrincham at lunchtime managed to get one lager for £2 and a dry white wine kit for £3 thanks for the headsup!
