Coming off benefits (without headache)

Hello,
This question may be old hat but I'd appreciate any insight as it's a new situation for me.
After months of job hunting (since May), it looks like I may have finally landed a job (I'll believe it when I see the contract in cold, hard ink). It looks to be starting Monday and will most likely pay monthly. I'm at the present moment on Jobseekers' Allowance and receiving Housing Benefit.
Presuming all goes well, I know that stopping JA is a simple phone call, but what about Housing Benefit? I'm keen not to mis-step and cause myself any headaches. There's also a little voice in me that's worrying about a month gap between starting work and getting paid in which there's nothing incoming, but I'll shut it up.
Any advice?

The Job Centre will inform the council, But pop in to the council office to be on the safe side in case of a foul up,0

Plus I know there is a job grant too of £100 when you sign off, you don't have to pay it back.0

Now to call the Council (gulp) and tell the Job Centre that I won't be signing on on Monday. LBM: June 2023. Amount owed: ~£10,000I've gone debt free before, I can do it again!0 -
"Part P" is not, and has never been, an accredited electrical qualification. It is a Building Regulation. No one can be "Part P qualified."
