Was told mortgage exit fee being refunded, not received

Called Halifax on 6th Feb after reading about it on here. Was told £125 exit fee would be paid back to me and would take up to 28 days.

No cheque was received so I called on or around 6th March and told my money had been processed but not actioned or words to that effect. She was putting an urgent note on and I should receive it within the next week.

Still not received cheque, could I phone now and ask for interest after having to wait so long?

I'd call them and see if they could put the funds into your account by BACS, etc.
