Bikini line razor bumps

Can anyone recommend how to prevent/lessen the rash you get on your bikini line after shaving? I find in the warm weather I'm getting more of a rash with some quite big painful spots appearing :(

Tendskin is best. You can also make your own quite easily as I believe it only has a few ingredients if you're feeling confident to try that.

  • Skin Doctors Ingrow Go is the best product I've tried, it was recommended by the salon where I go for waxing, you can buy it also in boots, last week it had 20% off. Use twice a day on some cotton wool, and you'll see a marked difference

Lavender oil and/or Sudocrem for me.

I also find I get less bumps if I shave every day with a sharp blade andlots of lubrication (shower gel) rather than doing it less frequently. But it does seem to be more of a problem right now, I agree.

I find that the undies style you wear afterwards can have an effect too - go for looser fitting and try to avoid those with tight elastic seams that sit over the freshly shaved areas, I find slightly a baggy boy-short style works well.

Don't shave. I use a hair removal powder that works fab and is really cheap off ebay.

A powder. Never heard of a hair removal powder.

    What's it called?

Just spotted that on ebay too, never seen that before. Seems to be brilliant and awful reviews of it but most agree it's a step up from depilatory creams. Might have to give it a go - thank you!
