2.6% falls year on year sounds ok to me. Small enough not to completely stuff anyone who bought near peak and big enough (added to inflation) that houses are becoming considerably more affordable.
Also big enough to silence the rampers.
Not even a whisper from Sibley. Hamish is quiet too.
As a homeowner, this is apparently bad news for me. Can't say that I'm bothered really. In fact, I'm quite pleased that this "correction" appears to be proceeding quite nicely.30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older. Equity : Don't know, don't care much. Savings : That's asking for ridicule.0

And if you continue to prove him wrong, he'll unleash the "Ignore" option, as you are now experiencing. However, don't expect him to completely ignore you, he'll still issue the odd "dig".30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older. Equity : Don't know, don't care much. P.s. No doubt DervProf will be along shortly to desperately prove that he's not bothered about me putting him on Ignore and will moan about me having a 'dig'. It's for his own good, my digs are like methadone to a heroin addict - without some sort of, any sort, of contact with me, he would die.

 Interesting.
Come on DervProf. He surely can't have seen your post. He has you on ignore. 0 0

I don't think I have ever seen someone make quite such a big deal, and shout so loud about the fact that they are....supposedly....ignoring someone.
 Kinda misses the point.0

Slowly, but surely, RM is putting more people on ignore who dare to disagree with him or prove him wrong. Eventually he'll not get any replies from his "look at me" posts (not that he gets many anyway, apart from the ones he used to get from me). You know the ones, those where he informs us what a clever little boy he's been. The ones that we've read dozens of times, but he still feels the need to remind us of how considerably more brilliant he is than the rest of us. I wonder who'll be next ? GD has to be a favourite. Although I'm not so sure, he now seems to pick up on virtually everything Graham posts. Funny to think that he used to accuse me of "stalking" him, and now he's nipping at Graham's ankles at every opportunity.
I think it was just me that used to not quite see eye to eye with RM, and he really objected to me "picking on him". Look at him now, he dishes it out big style. The thing is, his tactics are often quite childish, and fairly often personal.30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older. Equity : Don't know, don't care much. Savings : That's asking for ridicule.0

Proof of this fact is shown here........RenovationMan wrote: »Still no posts from DervProf et al remonstrating with Percy for 'bragging' (their words not mine) about his finances on the internet.
I don't understand, have they no integrity?

Im sorry. I just enjoy winding you up, thats all. I will try and behave as I actually quite enjoy reading your posts and agree with most of what you bang on about.
Credit ratings are the most important, precious things these days. One missed payment and your screwed. The flip side is having no histroy - like poor brit1234 - these guys are also screwed if they want credit.
Keep on top of your credit reports - it is key if you plan on borrowing funds - I personally check mine on a monthly basis. If you can maintain credit and keep a perfect credit report then you will not be refused credit. It's simple really.
Oh look an attack on me by someone who thinks he knows my situation better than myself.
Dan I think you may of credit checked the wrong Brit 1234, my bank has told me I have an excellent credit rating. See I have every transaction registered to my parents house including all my bank accounts going back 2 decades despite living in various addresses in London. I am registered to vote there. I paid off my student loans, I have always paid off my overdraft. To improve it further I got a registered mobile phone, broad band, dongles, paypal all to my parents house. Also no black marks at all.
Here is a guide how to get a good credit rating from MSE.

So I am not screwed Dan I am in the best position to buy with a great credit rating, 30% deposit, costs, furniture sorted and a good well paid stable job.
Your put down tactics have failed.:rotfl: I couldn't be in a better position.:exclamatiScams - Shared Equity, Shared Ownership, Newbuy, Firstbuy and Help to Buy.
