quick question about a search on my credit report

i was thinking about taking out a loan and read on here that nationwide do a soft search (as long as you do not accept the quotaton - which i did not). i have now logged into my credit report tonight and have an alert for a nationwide search. under 'type' it says 'personal loan quotation'. is this going to affect my credit? can others see it, or just me? it's highlighted in red so i'm guessing it's bad :(

No it's a quotation search not a credit search.

Only you can see it....not potential lenders. It has no impact on your file
