Sales Interview - Evidence?
StarCrossed
Hiya,
Just a quickie. Going for a sales job. I've done well so far and explained how i've hit my targets but have been unable to claim any comission due to products etc not happening/not coming out (This is related to market and other people rather than my own personal performance)
In the interview all going well and my interviewer said I may have to provide evidence of my figures. How do I do this? The only way I have my figures is in my own Excel sheets anything else is invoicing etc. Surely I would be breaking some sort of ethics thing by providing this? I can't take any of my sales sheets or reports out and I don't really have reports?

It seems an odd question and one that is most likely deflected with a comment about it being inappropriate for you to share your employers corporate data. The only possible option may be if you have appraisals as I'd imagine comments on your sales prowess would be mentioned in them and that is a personal document.0
