How to Enter the Competition!

For your chance to win an Electrolux WorkZone we're looking for the best 'Handy Tip' on the Sixtyplusurfers Chat & Socialisepage.

Your Handy Tip might be your favourite recipe, a cookery tip, cleaning tip, a money saving idea, a photography hint, something crafty to make, a DIY tip, a health or safety tip, a gardening idea, a beauty or fashion idea, something to amuse your grandchildren, an idea for a family day out, or perhaps some words of wisdom passed on from a wise member of your family - be imaginative!

All Handy Tips MUSTbe posted as a BLOG on theChat & Socialise page to be in with a chance of winning the prize.

There is no limit to the amount of Handy Tips you can send in. The more the merrier!

We will choose the best Handy Tip at the end of August - so get your thinking caps on!

How to Post your Handy Tip as a BLOG on the Sixtyplusurfers Chat & Socialise Page

First click on the Chat & Socialise page and this will take you to the welcome page.

If you are not yet a member of our Chat & Socialise page, you will need to sign in and join before you begin. This is Free of Charge to do.

Next click on the words 'Join Now' at the top of the page and follow the instructions.

You will be asked to put in a Profile Photo (this is optional) fill in your email address, your username, password, and date of birth. When you are finished, click on the word 'Join'.

Once you have signed in and become a member of the Chat & Socialise page, you are ready to join in and send in your entry.

To post your Handy Tip as a BLOG - click on the word Blogs at the top of the Chat & Socialise page, then click on the words 'add a blog post'. Now you are ready to start!

First of all, give your Handy Tip a title - for example 'How to Clean your Oven'. Then type in your idea in the section marked 'Blog Post. If you scroll down the page you will also see that there is a chance to add in a helpful photo. This is entitled 'Blog Post Thumbnail' - you can add in a picture here. When you are finished just click on 'Add Blog Post' and that's all there is to it!
