back dated pay

So on 18th June I moved words and hospital sites but still within the same NHS trust.

I get paid on the last Wednesday of the month. My first pay looked about right, what I thought with a mixture of band 2 + band 3 + unsocial hours etc but my pay just last Wednesday was no where near what I thought it should be. Turns out I'm still being paid as a band 2.

My old ward manager filled in a form which I signed, which I thought was a change form. Well if it was, it hadn't been processed. My current ward manager asked me for details of my old ward to get this form filled in.

Anyways my question is, if it gets sorted for my next payday will I get the extra I should have been given up to when the change was sorted out?

If the "change form" had an "effective from" date on it, then your pay should be from then. But was the new pay for the change of ward/site or was it an increase while you were at your old ward?
