Asda Gluten-free Bread

Dear Asda,
Why oh why have you ruined your own brand gluten-free bread?
Just when I had got used to it, instead of normal, and actually enjoyed it, you have changed it, making it bigger, less dense, a 'bit' more like 'normal' bread and it is now rubbish!
It has no stability, it falls apart in the bag and in the toaster, it is like eating fluff and it now smells faintly of vinegar!
And you've made it 50p dearer too - from £2 to £ 2.50 for one white loaf!
Oh, and it's no longer long life either! Because you've changed it from vacuum packed to 'normal bread' packed.
This was definitely not 'chosen by' me, Asda!! :j:mad:
BOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Anyway.... phew... rant over, I'm getting my husband to get my g-f bread from the Sainsburys near his work now instead because Sainsburys' one is how Asda's USED to be and it is NICE! (And the same old lower price).
They'll probably change theirs too though, why can't they just leave things alone???!!!!

Because they can make more profit ?0

Hmm, yes, cheers for that.
So they make the bread mingin and more expensive too, so that less customers buy it - to make more profit. That makes sense! :rotfl:*Look for advice, not 'advise'*

Buy a bread maker and make your own. Much better than the supermarket. If you buy some of the ingredients from Chinese supermarkets e.g rice flour, you can keep the cost down. The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0

It isn't nice at all. I tend to make my own instead but I must admit I was a bit annoyed when they changed their bread. My local Tesco just stopped selling allergen-free bread all together. At least Asda still sell it I suppose, even if it's disgusting.
